Violence Against Women

 I am a certified domestic/sexual violence counselor and have extensive experience working with survivors in various capacities, from providing telephone crisis intervention services to  representing survivors at the Cook County Domestic Violence courthouse as a legal advocate.

I have experience in identifying funding opportunities and assisting with the grant application process, developing short and long-term goals and sustainability plans, reviewing and enhancing policies, developing and implementing new policies,  facilitating focus groups to get input on values and needs, creating on-line training programs for advocates, counselors, and law enforcement, in addition to researching and authoring materials on issues of violence against women, developing violence prevention and response program, in addition to peer education curriculums.
