Claudia Garcia-Rojas is a communications, marketing, and media strategist for social justice organizations and initiatives. She is the first in her family to earn a college degree and a Ph.D., becoming a first-generation Northwestern University-educated expert in race, domestic security, and political communications and strategy, as well as a freelance writer and journalist.

Claudia is a former organizer with Love and Protect, the former Executive Director of The Chicago Taskforce on Violence Against Girls & Young Women, and a speaker and certified counselor on issues of gender-based violence. She also holds a NASM certification in personal training.

More importantly, she’s a proud dog mom to a spirited 3-year-old rescue pup.
